What is a fertility assessment package?

Fertility assessments are suitable for individuals or couples who may be having difficulties conceiving naturally, want peace of mind, or are simply considering delaying starting a family for career or personal reasons.

Most of the assessments require just 1 or 2 visits to the clinic to complete all investigations and consultation.

From just £450, you and your partner will undergo a series of tests, including ultrasound, an AMH blood test and a semen analysis. The AMH, an ovarian reserve test, and the ultrasound scan can be arranged at a specific time before the visit, in order to have the results available for discussion with the consultant. By the end of the appointment, the consultant will be in a position to advise the most effective fertility treatment for you, as well as provide you with dietary and lifestyle advice to boost your chances of conceiving. Booking a fertility assessment package

Whether you are investigating your fertility status independently or as a couple, we will arrange a time when you can come in for an appointment to have all the necessary tests done. A follow-up appointment will be arranged at which we can discuss your results. The whole program, therefore, requires just two appointments with all the tests carried out on-site, and can often be arranged at a time convenient to you.

First appointment –  You can contact us to make an appointment for your AMH blood test and ultrasound scan to be carried out. If a semen analysis is required, this can be arranged for this day.

Second appointment – (Both partners) This appointment will be arranged via teams. You will have a full consultation with one of our fertility specialists to explain all the results.

The ultrasound scan is an internal scan in order for your reproductive organs to be properly examined. This can be performed on any day of your menstrual cycle, even if you are bleeding. The scan will assess your uterus to check for any abnormalities and look at your ovaries to determine the number of antral follicles. This, coupled with the AMH results, gives an accurate measure of your fertility and your likely response to any fertility medication.

The fertility specialist will then meet with you to guide you through the results, give you an accurate assessment of your fertility and explain the options available to you. Following the consultation, you will then have a phone call with a fertility nurse who will provide you with all the information you require. If treatment is recommended, you will be given a detailed plan of costs in order for you to make an informed decision as to whether you wish to go ahead. All relevant patient guides regarding treatment will be uploaded to your patient portal along with a full breakdown of any costs of treatment.
