We understand that finances are often one of the main considerations when exploring fertility treatment. If you choose to have your care with us, you have multiple funding options for your treatment, including NHS funding referrals and our partnership with Access Fertility.
We know that fertility treatment can be a big financial commitment. To make our services as accessible as possible, there are several funding routes available for your treatment.
This includes:
Spreading the cost with our partnership with Access Fertility, who offer patients the chance to fix the cost of their treatment with a variety of payment packages.
Saving on treatment costs with egg sharing
NHS funding (at select TFP Fertility clinics)
It's important to understand all of the costs involved before you start your fertility treatment.
You don't need a GP referral and you can self-refer directly, no matter how you're planning on funding your treatment.
So that you can feel confident and in control of your treatment costs, we follow a price commitment based on best practice set by the Competitions & Markets Authority (CMA).
If you'd like to privately fund your treatment, you can self-refer to us by contacting us.
You can self-fund yourself or through our partnership with Access fertility.
Alternatively, you can find out more about our fertility treatment referral processes and funding through the NHS or Armed Forces below.
We explain your individualised treatment costs in detail before you start so you know exactly what to expect and what your options are.
To take the confusion out of fertility pricing, we make things simple, with no hidden fees, to help you compare us with other clinics.
Although costs can change if you have extra medicines or treatment, we communicate this clearly at every stage so there's no suprises.
We’re proud to partner with Access Fertility. Their programmes allow you to spread the cost of IVF through their finance offering, including 0% interest on payment plans for up to 12 months.*
The Access Fertility programmes offer multiple cycles, which saves on costs compared to paying for cycles one at a time. You can also spread the cost of all or part of your treatment programme into monthly instalments.
These programmes have helped many of our patients save money, fix the cost of their treatment and reduce the financial stress involved with fertility treatment.
For a fixed price, the Access Fertility IVF Unlimited programme provides an unlimited number of IVF cycles and frozen embryo transfers for two years. If you don’t have a baby within that time, you're guaranteed a 100% refund.
The Access Fertility IVF Refund programme offers up to three IVF cycles and unlimited frozen embryo transfers for a fixed fee. You’ll also receive a 100% refund if you don't have a baby.
Get up to two IVF cycles for a significantly discounted fixed fee and no medical acceptance criteria with the Access Fertility IVF Multi-Cycle programme. By pre-paying for these IVF cycles, this programme eases the stress of deciding how to proceed if your first IVF cycle is unsuccessful.
*subject to eligibility criteria
You may be eligible to apply for the Access Fertility Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment plan, with 0% interest for up to 12 months.
You can learn more about how to get started with Access Fertility, or talk to us today and we’ll help you find the right program for you.
If you’re having IVF or ICSI, you may want to consider donating some of your eggs so you can help others have the chance to become parents.
In doing so, the cost of your IVF/ICSI cycle would be covered by compensation. You’ll only need to pay for your medication and your partner's screening tests if you donate eggs.
To qualify for egg sharing, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
Be aged 36 years old or under.
Be fit and healthy.
Have a BMI of 30 or lower.
For further information on egg sharing, please talk to a member of our team.
If you access our expert fertility services with NHS funding, you’ll receive the same level of expert care and attention as our self-funded patients.
Before your referral, you’ll need to ask your GP about your eligibility for NHS funding.
Whether you can get NHS funding depends on where you live and your age, BMI, smoking status and how long you've been trying to conceive.
Visit the NHS website to find out more about the availability of IVF on the NHS.
Your treatment referral must also come from either your NHS GP or NHS Consultant.
You can find out more about our NHS referral process here or contact your local TFP Fertility clinic to see if NHS funding is available.
If you or your partner is employed by the Armed Forces, you should speak to your military or local GP.
If you meet the criteria for funding, a funding request should be submitted to NHS England Armed Forces funding for approval, not your local Integrated Care Board (ICB).
When deciding on how to fund your fertility treatment, it’s important to choose a clinic where you feel comfortable that you’re being listened to.
Treatment costs are one thing, but the clinic’s location, success rates and services are important to think about too.
We want you to feel assured and confident that you're in the right place for your needs, both financially and personally.
If you’re looking to pay for your fertility treatment yourself, you can come to us directly without the need to contact your GP or another healthcare professional for a referral.
