How much does IVF cost with TFP Fertility?
A single IVF cycle at TFP Fertility costs from £5,520 to £7,915 depending on the clinic. IVF with ICSI starts at £6,975. Medication is charged separately and usually adds £300 to £3,250. Your final cost depends on the clinic you choose and the treatment you need.
Every price on this page covers one full treatment cycle. Depending on your individual needs, you may need more than one cycle.
We are transparent about our fertility pricing, and openly publish every step of your treatment costs so you can plan before you commit. Your consultant will give you a personalised written quote at your first appointment. Where something is charged separately, we say so and we tell you what it costs.

Medication costs
Medication is not included in the treatment prices above, and it is the part of the cost that varies most between patients. At TFP Fertility, IVF medication typically costs between £300 and £3,250.
Where you sit in that range depends on your medical history, treatment plan, correct dosage for you and how your body responds to the medication. Age, ovarian reserve and whether you have had treatment before all play a part. You will know your expected medication cost before your cycle starts, and your clinic will tell you if the plan changes.
Medication is the same range at all eight clinics, so it is not a reason to choose one clinic over another.

Add-ons are optional extras. Your consultant will only recommend one where there is a clinical reason for it, and will explain the evidence behind it before you decide.

Funding your IVF treatment
Most people fund IVF through one of four routes, and they can be combined. Our patient support team will talk you through which apply to you before you commit to anything.
At TFP Fertility, we offer multiple funding options for your treatment, including NHS funding referrals, Bupa and AXA Health insurance benefits, and our partnership with Access Fertility.
NHS funding
Some patients are eligible for NHS-funded treatment at a TFP clinic. Eligibility is set by your local NHS commissioners, not by us, and the criteria differ across the UK. They usually take account of age, BMI, whether either partner already has children, and how long you have been trying to conceive. We will check whether you meet them before you pay for anything, and if you do not, we will tell you plainly rather than leave you to find out later.

Access Fertility payment plans
Access Fertility offers three programmes through TFP, plus 0% interest payment plans for up to 12 months. Multi-cycle and refund programmes cost more up front than a single cycle but can work out cheaper if you need more than one round, which many people do.
IVF Unlimited
Unlimited IVF cycles and frozen embryo transfers for 2 years, with a full refund if you do not have a baby.
IVF Refund
Up to three IVF cycles and unlimited frozen transfers, with up to a 100% refund if you do not have a baby.
IVF Multi-Cycle
Up to two IVF cycles for a discounted fee, with no medical criteria.

Why does IVF cost vary between clinics?
The same treatment costs £5,520 in Belfast and £7,915 in London, a difference of £2,395. That is not a difference in the standard of care, which is the same across the group. It reflects the cost of running a clinic in that location, including premises, staffing and local laboratory arrangements.
You are free to choose any TFP clinic, and some patients do travel for treatment. Be realistic about it though: IVF needs frequent monitoring appointments over a two to three week window, usually early in the morning, and travel costs and time off work can eat into the saving. Your consultant will be honest with you about whether travelling is practical for your cycle.
The prices that do not vary are worth knowing too. Assessments, screening, donor sperm, egg sharing and medication cost the same wherever you go, so the clinic choice only affects the treatment cycle itself.

What happens if your treatment cycle is cancelled?
Not every cycle reaches embryo transfer. If yours is cancelled, you get a defined amount back, and the amount depends on how far you had progressed. We publish the figures so you know before you start.

Because your treatment plan is completely tailored to you, the cost will depend on what has been recommended by your fertility doctor.
The cost of your treatment will be outlined during your initial consultation along with the payment options available. Our transparent pricing means there are no hidden costs.
