Whether you are concerned about your fertility health or have been trying to conceive for some time, the fertility consultation aims to ease your worries and find a suitable treatment plan to support you on your fertility journey. You can choose to have your consultation online or face-to-face, depending on what you feel comfortable with.
Here are some key areas that will be discussed during your consultation:
Results from the fertility assessment – By this stage, you should have undergone a fertility assessment either at our clinic or have results from a previous assessment (note that previous results are only valid for 12 months). The assessment typically includes a blood test, an ultrasound, and, for men, a semen analysis. We will discuss your results in detail, which will help us create a personalised treatment plan for you.
Medical history review – We will review your medical history, including any underlying medical conditions, past surgeries, and prescribed medications. Your fertility health will also be discussed, including any previous pregnancies or miscarriages.

Treatment plan – The doctor will present a personalised treatment plan, making recommendations based on your medical and fertility history as well as the results from your fertility treatment. This will include any medications you may need, potential additional treatments such as ICSI or PGT, and a walk-through of what to expect during your fertility journey.
Cost and funding - Fertility treatment costs can play a significant part in your decision. During your consultation, we will provide a breakdown of the costs associated with your treatment plan. It is important to understand that prices can vary depending on add-ons and medication. We will also discuss funding options and flexible payment plans that can help manage the cost of your treatment. Additionally, we will explain any refund programmes available, if things don’t go as planned.
Addressing your questions – The consultation is an opportunity to ask any questions you have, such as information on success rates, side effects, or lifestyle changes. Our fertility team will provide you with the guidance and advice you need to make your fertility journey as smooth as possible. We also encourage you to read our blog posts, which address questions asked by our patients.
Next steps - There’s no need to make a decision immediately. We understand that receiving the information can be overwhelming. You can go home and take your time to reflect and process everything. Speaking with your partner, friend, or family member may help, or you might prefer to take time alone to consider what is best for you.
