Where is the satellite clinic?

Our private fertility clinic Edinburgh is located at Cosmedicare 6 Lochside Place Edinburgh - EH12 9DF. This location offers ample free parking and is just a few minutes’ walk away from Edinburgh Park tram line and retail park.

Who can use the private fertility clinic in Edinburgh?

The fertility clinic in Edinburgh services are available to all patients, based in the east of Scotland.

What appointments can I take at our centre?

The following appointments can take place at the fertility clinic:

• Initial consultation, consenting appointment, follow-up appointment

• Ovarian Assessments

• Blood tests

• Scan appointments, pregnancy scans

• Counselling

All patients will have to attend our Glasgow clinic for their egg collection and embryo transfer appointment and semen analysis.

Some patients may also require additional procedures (e.g. cyst aspiration, IVF, sperm freeze, surgical sperm retrieval) which can only be done at the main clinic in Glasgow.

How will using the satellite affect my treatment?

The aim of the satellite service is to make treatment more convenient for you. Our Edinburgh fertility clinic (satellite center) is staffed by our nurses from our Glasgow clinic plus our highly skilled sonographers, so you receive the same high levels of care that you would in our main clinic.

Appointments are conducted as they would be in Glasgow and all scan and blood test results are put on our database, so the decisions made about your treatment (ex. IVF - In vitro fertilisation), and your chances of success, are the same whether you choose to have your appointments in Glasgow or Edinburgh

Who will I see?

All TFP satellite clinics are staffed by highly experienced sonographers, nurses and doctors who work very closely with the staff at the Edinburgh satellite clinic to ensure good communication and an excellent standard of care.
