Dr. Inosha Bambaranda

Dr. Inosha Bambaranda is a Consultant Gynaecologist and a Fertility Specialist. She completed her Subspeciality training in Reproductive Medicine in Sri Lanka which  included completion of a Clinical Research Fellowship at Newcastle Fertility Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne.

After graduating with Distinctions in Surgery and Paediatrics, she decided to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her MD in  Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Colombo Sri Lanka and managed to obtain the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists award for the best performance in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2018.

She has also won numerous national and international awards for her academic excellence and her research work which included SLCOG Young Gynaecologist award 2018 and Shan S Ratnam Young Gynaecologist award  AOFOG 2019.

She is a member of the British Fertility Society and an associate member of Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.Her areas of special interests include Reproductive Endocrinology and medical education.

Inosha is a firm believer of continuity of care and prides herself in holistic approach to patient care.
