Dr Inosha Bambaranda

Education

After graduating with Distinctions in Surgery and Paediatrics, Dr Inosha Bambaranda decided to pursue a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from University of Colombo Sri Lanka and managed to obtain the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists award for the best performance in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2018.

Memberships

Dr Bambaranda is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists as well as an associate member of Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Her areas of special interests include Reproductive Endocrinology and medical education.

Awards

Dr Inosha Bambaranda has also won numerous national and international awards for her academic excellence and her research work which included SLCOG Young Gynaecologist award 2018 and Shan S Ratnam Young Gynaecologist award AOFOG 2019.

Experience

In addition to her position as a Fertility Specialist in TFP Oxford Fertility, Dr Bambaranda has also worked as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Reproductive Medicine Specialist in Sri Lanka. She completed her subspeciality training in Reproductive Medicine in Sri Lanka which included completion of a Clinical Research Fellowship at Newcastle Fertility Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne.
