Who are fertility assessments for?

Fertility assessments are suitable for individuals or couples who may be having difficulties conceiving naturally, want peace of mind, or are simply considering delaying starting a family for career or personal reasons.

Most of the assessments require just one or two visits to the clinic to complete all investigations and consultations.

Plus, you don’t need to have seen a GP or have been referred to book an assessment with us.

Your fertility assessment is the first step in any fertility treatment. after your fertility test, you’ll be given the appropriate advice and have the chance to ask questions about potential next steps.

What gets tested in a fertility assessment?

Fertility tests for women

For females, we carry out an internal ultrasound scan, to assess your uterus and check for any abnormalities, as well as a blood test which determines your ovarian reserve (the number of eggs you have left).

Fertility tests for men

Most male infertility is caused by abnormalities found in the sperm. For males, the main fertility test is the semen analysis, where we examine how many sperm is in your sample (sperm count), their size and shape, and how well they move.
