Education

After earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in 2010 and completing a distinguished MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Colombo, Dr. Ilukpitiya pursued advanced subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine to provide cutting-edge care in the field of fertility.

Experience

Before joining TFP Nurture Fertility as a Fertility Specialist, Dr Ilukpitiya gained extensive experience in Sri Lanka's Ministry of Health, beginning as a Doctor in 2011 and progressing to Senior Registrar in Reproductive Medicine in 2021 and Acting Consultant Fertility Specialist in 2023. She also gained further experience as Acting Consultant in Reproductive Medicine at the Teaching Hospital Mahamodara.
