Dr Zabeena Pandian

Education

With over 30 years’ experience, Dr Pandian originally qualified with an MBBS from Madurai-Kamaraj University in 1988. Dr Zabeena Pandian has been an accredited consultant gynaecologist and fertility specialist since 2006. She completed her training at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Scotland, and undertook research in fertility at the University of Aberdeen where she was awarded an MSc with distinction.

Experience

Dr Pandian has worked for the NHS since 1996. Her clinical interests include all aspects of assisted conception in particular couples with unexplained subfertility.

Research, publications and advancements on fertility systems

Dr Pandian is an active member of the Cochrane Collaboration with expertise in systematic reviews. To date her research has involved a series of systematic reviews and updates on the effectiveness of treatments available for various types of infertility and their reproductive outcomes, leading to several publications in the Cochrane library and high impact journals.
