Mr Chun Ng is a consultant gynaecologist and specialist in infertility, reproductive medicine and surgery and postmenopausal health. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree from University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Mr Ng trained as a specialist registrar (SpR) in the North West London Deanery training program, receiving his postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology and specialising in reproductive medicine and surgery, and minimal access/benign endoscopic surgery. Completion of his training program led to the award of UK Certificate of Specialist Training and inclusion in the specialist register with the General Medical Council.
Previously, he was also a Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London, and conducted postgraduate clinical research in menopause. During his postgraduate training, he obtained his membership of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He also holds a Diploma in Family Planning.
Mr Ng has contributed numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and chapters in textbooks in obstetrics and gynaecology. He has presented at various international and national meetings in the field of gynaecology and reproductive medicine. He has also appeared on TV news interview with CNN and webnews with BBC.
He is a member of the British Fertility Society, European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology and British Menopause Society. He is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is a past module organiser and tutor for MSc and BSc Intercalated year in Human Reproductive Biology course of Imperial College London. He is also a past co-editor for journal summary service Current Medical Literature.
