Education

Karen Lyttle completed her nursing training at Queen's University Belfast before undertaking midwifery training in Edinburgh, establishing a strong clinical foundation in women's health and maternity care.

Experience

Karen has extensive experience in both public and private healthcare, having worked across the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Her career has focused on delivering high-quality care to women and couples throughout their reproductive journey, with particular expertise in fertility treatment, embryo transfer, intrauterine insemination (IUI), and fertility ultrasound.

Further specialist training and memberships

Committed to advancing her specialist knowledge, Karen completed fertility ultrasound training through the British Fertility Society before achieving a Graduate Certificate in Fertility Ultrasound from University College Dublin. She is a member of the Senior Infertility Nurse Group, working collaboratively with colleagues across the UK to promote excellence and innovation in fertility nursing.

She is dedicated to continually improving outcomes and ensuring every individual and couple receives the highest standard of care throughout their fertility treatment. She has led quality improvement initiatives, service developments, and staff education programmes, supporting the clinic in maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice and patient experience.
