If you have any questions about our services, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Take the first step; we'll help you on your way. Our goal at TFP Stork Fertility is that you feel seen and heard, surrounded by experts and experience a good atmosphere. We take time for you and always guarantee you a one-on-one treatment.
We have long opening hours most weekdays. You will be assigned a permanent contact doctor who will follow you and your treatment.
At TFP Stork Fertility, we offer counselling and support sessions with our fertility therapist, Mille Duzenius.
We look forward to welcoming you.
You can have the initial conversation at the clinic or by phone/Skype. The conversation is non-binding, and you will be able to ask any questions you may have.
If we have answers to all the tests that we think are relevant in your case, we will be able to plan your fertility course and instruct you in the further process at TPF Stork Fertility.
At TFP Stork Fertility, you have the opportunity to receive an assessment and advice about your fertility, without necessarily having to start treatment. During fertility counselling, you and a potential partner will have your fertility assessed. This means that you get an indication of your chances of having a child. The tests consist of an AMH blood test (AMH tells us about the egg reserve) and an ultrasound scan of the woman. If you have a male partner, we can also offer a semen analysis.
While freezing sperm and embryos at the pronuclear, 8-cell or blastocyst stage has been a standard method used for many years, it was not known whether a similarly effective method existed for freezing unfertilised eggs until 2010, when the first European working groups were able to demonstrate that special freezing methods could achieve similarly good pregnancy rates as fresh eggs.
Cryopreservation is a special process that allows cells and tissues to be stored for a long time (blastocysts max. 5 years) for later use. Cells and tissues are frozen and stored at minus 196 degrees Celsius in liquid nitrogen. The name for this technique comes from the ancient Greek word "cryos", meaning "cold".
If pregnancy has not been achieved naturally so far, a semen analysis can show the state of your husband's sperm quality. At TFP Stork Fertility, we carry out the semen analysis in our specialised laboratories and advise you on fertility treatment options based on your individual circumstances.
At TFP Stork Fertility in Copenhagen, we offer midwife consultations with a regular midwife from the very early stages of pregnancy. Here, we can talk about what's on your mind, and we'll also get to grips with some of the natural changes your body will go through over the next few months.
To achieve pregnancy, there must be passage through at least one fallopian tube. If there is impaired passage in the fallopian tube, there will be an increased risk of an ectopic pregnancy. At TFP Stork Fertility, we recommend that you have your fallopian tubes checked for passage by an ultrasound scan called a hysterosonogram (HSN).
