There are some surgical procedures which are essential to fertility treatment.
The majority of the operations can be performed without admitting the patients to a hospital. This means they can be performed by minimally invasive endoscopic methods. This applies to the removal of uterine fibroids and ovarian cysts as well as the treatment of Fallopian tube obstruction, endometriosis and uterus anomalies. Because of this, we perform the commonly named “keyhole surgery” (laparoscopy) and inspection of the uterine cavity by endoscopy (hysteroscopy).
Following the procedure, patients remain at the centre for a few hours and are discharged within the same day, provided they are accompanied by someone.
