What is FertiPROTEKT?

TFP Kinderwunsch is a member of FertiPROTEKT Netzwerk e.V., an association of centers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We are concerned with the preservation of fertility and advocate for the protection of fertility before planned operations, chemotherapy or radiation.

Under most conditions, health insurance companies cover the costs of fertility-protective measures in Germany. The guideline for cryopreservation of eggs, sperm and male testicular tissue has recently come into force. The Joint Federal Committee (Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss, G-BA) has defined the framework conditions for the assumption of costs by the statutory health insurance funds.
