Dr Fatima Husain is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at TFP Thames Valley Fertility. She has extensive training and experience helping women with infertility, miscarriage, pelvic pain, period problems and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Dr Fatima Husain qualified from King’s College Hospital Medical School, London in 1986. She then completed her postgraduate training in obstetrics & gynaecology in London, and obtained specialised training in Infertility and IVF at the Guy's and St Thomas' Assisted Conception Unit, gaining work experience at Queen Charlotte’s and St George’s hospitals amongst others.
Membership and teaching
Dr Husain is a member of a vast array of professional bodies including the British Medical Association, the British Fertility Society, the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Gynaecology, the British Menopause Society and the British Society for Gynaecological Laparoscopy and European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology. She has is actively involved in teaching and research. Her research interests including cultural aspects of IVF and Obesity/ PCOS. Dr Husain has been awarded the title of Adjunct Associate Professor for her role in teaching medical students from the American University of the Caribbean in her NHS practice.
Experience
Dr Husain has been a doctor for over 30 years and is an NHS Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Heatherwood and Wexham Park hospitals, part of Frimley Health, where she has been a consultant since 2006. She is happy to see women with a range of gynaecological problems such as pelvic pain, period problems and infertility. She had intensive specialist training in the field of infertility and IVF at Guy’s Hospital Assisted Conception Unit.
