Marcin Marciniak, PhD

Marcin is a meticulous scientist who can spend long hours in the laboratory. It is rare to run into him in the corridor of the clinic, but he knows exactly what each fertilised cell and each sperm looks like. Marcin never gives up, and it is most often thanks to him that patients, who gave up hope earlier, are happy with the birth. It is also mainly thanks to him that the success rate of fertilisation exceeds their expectations.

He gained knowledge and practical experience at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionism of the Jagiellonian University during his doctoral studies. He acquired the necessary skills in assisted reproduction procedures at the Institute of Reproductive Sciences in Oxford. He is certified as an ESHRE clinical embryologist and PTMRiE clinical embryologist.

He also defended his doctoral thesis entitled. "Effects of the interaction of autosomal genes and genes located in the Y chromosome on gamete quality in male mice."

He has been working in our clinic since 2009.
