When it is not possible to obtain reproductive cells from one or both partners, there are treatment options available using anonymous donor cells or embryos donated for adoption.
Thanks to the in vitro procedure with egg cells from anonymous donors, patients have the chance to become pregnant and have a baby. The same is true for men who are found to have no sperm and whose treatment is unsuccessful. Then sperm from an anonymous donor can be used by the couple in insemination or in vitro fertilisation procedures. Find out the details of our original donation programmes.
The aim of the programme is to provide comprehensive care to couples who will use egg cells from the TFP Fertility Macierzyństwo bank during the in vitro procedure.
The eggs in the TFP Fertility Macierzyństwo bank come from women who have decided to anonymously donate some oocytes during their own IVF treatment. A potential donor must be under 35 years of age, have no health contraindications to donation other than partner donation, and donate at least 4 mature eggs. Donors undergo a full package of virological tests and additional genetic tests (CFTR).
The programme covers the full cycle of treatment - from the start of the cycle until the last embryo is used.
The programme consists of:
Gynaecological consultations with ultrasound
Monitoring of hormone levels (oestradiol, progesterone, HCG) from the beginning of the cycle until the end of the programme (confirmed clinical pregnancy or use of the last embryo)
Psychological care during the whole process
Virological examinations for HIV, HCV, HBs (by amplification of nucleic acids)
Selection of oocytes according to phenotypic characteristics, thawing and use of oocytes from the clinic's bank in accordance with the requirements of the Act of 25 June 2015 on infertility treatment (Journal of Laws of 31 July 2015, item 1087) and the Regulations of the Minister of Health issued to the aforementioned Act
IVF/ICSI in vitro fertilisation
Embryo culture
Freezing and storage of embryos for the first year from the date of freezing
Embryo transfers of fresh and frozen embryos
Verification of HCG levels after embryo transfers
What have we not included in the programme?

TFP Fertility Macierzyństwo works with the European Sperm Bank. The European Sperm Bank donor material is available on-site at our clinic's bank, enabling the selection of a donor with the required phenotypic characteristics (appearance). Once the donor phenotypic selection is approved by the attending physician, the donor material is reserved at no cost for the couple's treatment needs and then used for the insemination or in vitro fertilization procedure.
In situations where the phenotypic characteristics of donors from the TFP Fertility Macierzyństwo bank do not match the couple undergoing treatment, it is possible to select and import donor sperm directly from the European Sperm Bank europeanspermbank.com.
The aim of the programme is to provide comprehensive care to couples who have decided to adopt embryos.
