Dr Garima Srivastava

Education

Dr Garima Srivastava qualified as a medical doctor in 1997 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2023. She obtained Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2006 and was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist in 2014.

Experience

Alongside her role at TFP Simply Fertility, Dr Srivastava served as the Clinical Lead for Fertility and Person Responsible under the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA) at Homerton Fertility Centre until 2026. During her tenure, she successfully led the service through complex clinical and regulatory challenges, introducing improvements in patient safety, clinical governance, and fertility care pathways.

Her areas of specialist interest include: Assisted conception (IVF and fertility treatments), Fertility preservation, Fibroids and endometriosis, Fertility care for same-sex couples, single women, and gender-diverse individuals, Psychosexual medicine, Ambulatory fertility surgery and colposcopy. Dr Srivastava is passionate about delivering personalised, evidence-based fertility care. She believes in a "get it right first time" approach, combining clinical excellence with compassionate communication, shared decision-making, and continuous quality improvement to provide the best possible patient experience.

Further training

Committed to continuous professional development, Dr Srivastava is currently undertaking an MBA to further strengthen her strategic leadership, financial, and management expertise. By combining advanced business knowledge with her extensive clinical experience, she aims to lead innovative, sustainable healthcare improvements that enhance patient outcomes, service quality, and access to fertility care.
