Mr Gedis Grudzinskas, formerly Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals School of Medicine and Dentistry, is a leading international figure in the field of reproductive medicine, surgery and obstetrics.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists.
Following more than 20 years as the Medical Director of IVF services at both St Bartholomew’s & The Royal London Hospitals and the Bridge Fertility Gynaecology and Genetics Centre, he is continuing his clinical activities at his independent clinical practice at 92 Harley Street, where he is applying his substantial experience to helping couples who are seeking advice about their fertility. His experience, coupled with his knowledge of the most recent advances in treatment, enables him to suggest the best way forward for patients who may have been unsuccessful with previous treatments.
Mr Grudzinskas works with leading IVF centres in London and elsewhere, allowing him to personally treat patients who require IVF, ICSI, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and endoscopic/keyhole surgery.
He is in a position to assist couples who are still childless after IVF treatment. His mission is to maintain and enhance reproductive health in women, prevent infertility and preserve fertility in cancer patients. He is also able to provide assistance to women who require oocyte/egg freezing using the technique of vitrification for both medical and personal reasons.
His considerable worldwide experience and his active network of overseas assisted reproduction therapy centres provides early and sensitive access to treatment with donor gametes and other treatment strategies for which there are long waiting lists in the UK.
