Witek's story

"We got married in July 2016. Even before the wedding, we were trying to have offspring, but unfortunately without success. In the beginning, doctors told us that stress was to blame for everything, but no one explained to us what examinations we should do. In 2018, we met a urologist who referred us to Dr Michał Kupś. It turned out that due to a genetic defect, my husband was missing his vas deferens. IVF was our only chance for a miracle. I was taken care of by Dr Ewelina Budzińska. She always devoted a lot of time to us and answered all our questions. After performing all the necessary examinations, Dr Michał performed a biopsy and managed to obtain three embryos. We had to wait a long time for the day of the transfer, because cysts were found on my ovaries during every examination.

That was a difficult time. At that time, I was working for a big corporation, and I didn't like my job. It brought tears to my eyes when it turned out after each appointment that we had to keep waiting for the transfer. My husband was very supportive at the time, and we spent a lot of time talking. One day, we had enough of my cysts and decided to stop the examinations for a while. I also changed my job.

In February, Dr Ewelina Budzińska performed the transfer of the frozen embryo, which proved to be a great success. On 5 November, our little angel Witek was born. He is the spitting image of his daddy. Witek is his grandparents' first grandchild and we are all very proud of him. He means the world to us and is our little big miracle. Witek is very calm and outgoing. He changes from day to day and develops very quickly. He gives us a lot of love. We can't imagine life without him now. We love it when he smiles at us.
