The aim of the programme is to provide financial support to couples struggling with the problem of infertility. After a positive qualification, the couple receives co-financing for the in vitro procedure in the amount of 50%, not more than 10,000 PLN, and can benefit from one individualised procedure of in vitro fertilisation (in vitro or intracytoplasmic sperm injection).
The programme provides for the implementation of 20 in vitro procedures with the use of:
Patients' own gametes
Sperm from an anonymous donor
Oocyte from an anonymous donor.
The couple is married or in a civil partnership
Both patient and patient are residents of Nowogard Municipality
The woman's age is between 20 and 40 years (according to birth year)
It is possible to carry out the procedure in patients up to 42 years of age (according to the year of birth) under the condition of promising ovarian reserve (AMH > 0.7 ng/mL) and in couples undergoing the procedure of in vitro fertilization with the use of female germ cells.
Medical indications for IVF treatment, as defined in the Act on Infertility Treatment and resulting from current recommendations.
Potential risk of normal response to ovulation stimulation (FSH>15 mU/mL on cycle day 2.-3 or AMH<0.5 ng/mL)
Abnormal response to stimulation (no oocytes in 2 cycles of stimulation)
Recurrent pregnancy loss in the same relationship (more than 3 miscarriages)
Absence or defects of the uterus making it impossible to carry the pregnancy to term
Negative opinion of the consultation team
Funding for the in vitro fertilisation procedure under the Programme is 50% of the costs incurred and at TFP Fertility Vitrolive this amounts to:
Maximum 3,792.00 PLN - For partner donation
Maximum 4,392.00 PLN - For donation from a source outside of the relationship
The following stages of treatment are subsidised:
Psychological counselling (each couple qualified for the IVF procedure is entitled to one free psychological consultation)
Ultrasound examination to monitor the growth of ovarian follicles during hormonal stimulation
Hormonal examination during stimulation (assessment of estradiol and progesterone levels)
Ovarian puncture under general anaesthesia
Semen preparation
In vitro fertilisation or intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection using the patients own or donor gametes
Embryo culture and development supervision
Transfer of embryo(s) into the uterine cavity.
The remaining costs of the procedure are borne by patients, including but not limited to:
Diagnostic tests and medical visits before qualifying for the Programme
Medication
Additional techniques and methods, e.g. time-lapse embryo culture (EmbryoScope), embryo sheath incision before transfer (AH), use of EmbryoGlue medium for embryo transfer, endometrial scratch biopsy
Testicular/epididymal biopsy
Cryopreservation and storage of embryos
