Alicja Kario is a graduate of the West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin and a student at the Instituto Superior Técnico Technical University in Lisbon. In 2010, she was awarded an engineering degree. In 2011, she graduated with honours, earning a master's degree in Biotechnology. She was honoured with an entry in the Golden Book of the West Pomeranian University of Technology as the best graduate of the academic year 2009/2010.
During her studies, she completed professional internships in Polish and foreign institutions. In 2011, she worked at STAB VIDA molecular diagnostics laboratory in Lisbon. She is an internal auditor of quality management systems according to ISO 9001:2008. In 2012, she started working at TFP Fertility Vitrolive centre as an embryologist. She is a member of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine and Embryology (PTMRiE) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).
In 2017, she passed the international exam obtaining the certificate of Clinical Embryologist of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and the certificate of Clinical Embryologist of the Polish Society of Reproductive Medicine (PTMRiE).
